You mean I have to make supper????? Geesh how many times a day do these people have to eat?
I guess it will either be something with chicken or ground beef (the only things I have defrosted at the moment). I am stuck in a rut! Guess it is time to look through the cookbooks, huh?

We're having grilled steaks, some kind of pasta, and corn on the cob.
You could have what we're having..that takes ground beef. Quite tasty and easy.

I wish I could go out to eat. :( Maybe the money genie will come along. :D I want the Olive Garden sooooo bad.

There were a lot of times over the years I would stretch a pound of hamburger or half a chicken or some veggies to make a decent dinner for my family. It's amazing how creative a person can be without serving hotdogs and mac & cheese. But, kids are grown, bills are paid, and finally we can kick back a little and enjoy things. (dahubby on the otherhand would grill 7 days a week. In fact, when he retires in a year or two, I'm turning over ALL kitchen duties to him. I had that job for the first 30 years, he gets it for the next 30!)
So you guys hang in there. There's no 'money genie' but your time will come too. We just all have to pay our dues I guess.
Machy, there's a website somewhere with Olive Garden recipes...over in the freebie forum I think is where I saw it! Or try www.copykat.com for dozens of recipes from restaurants!
