...take a road trip this weekend. Dahubby's going to Indy for the weekend, drag races, da dot & b/f are going with da son & g/f boating this weekend, and I am NOT staying home. (although I LOVE being home ALONE!)

Sooooo...I'm heading to Alabama. I'm going to go see Gia30. (Get your house cleaned woman!) We'd (several of us) tried planning this a month or so ago and it sort of fell through due to family coming in this weekend from Florida (hey, I've seen them before and besides, it's dahubby's sister, not mine) and my sister's wedding reception. But - I have a 3 day weekend. So tomorrow, 4pm I'm on the road to 'bama.

'Bama will never be the same!

Our home was in Ohio. But, my uncle was a sheet metal journeyman. So, we lived in Memphis, Mobile, Florida, Colorado Springs, and a bunch of other places.

If you ever make it out here, let me know! It is actually a cool place to vacation. It is a loooong roadtrip though!

My sil and bil just came back from Seattle (and somewhere close to there) a week or so ago. They have friends out there and go once a year. They LOVE Washington! I've seen pics of theirs, it's beautiful country!

Oooh angel, I remember those days, 2 kids playing ball, swimteam, dance. We were constantly running with those 2 somewhere or another. But alas, now they're grown (HOTD*MN & HALLELUJAH) and I have time to myself.

You'll get yours too. Then when you do, come visit me in the nursing home!
