I need another cell phone. My dot has adopted mine and I can't pry it out of her hand. What I need is to have a LOT of peak or anytime minutes and at least 2-3000 offpeak minutes (or unlimited) Right now I have 250 peak/unlimited offpeak with Cingular (was MORE than enough for me, not near enough for Sarah) She uses the phone as much during the day as at night. AT&T has a $34.95 plan, with 500 anytime minutes and unlimited offpeak. I'd like MORE peak, but that's the best I can find besides Sprint, and that's 2000 anytime minutes but runs $99.99 a month. NOT paying that much, and Sarah's broke as a joke with school and loans, so I'm footing the bill.

Any suggestions? Nationwide LD would be nice, but not necessary, no roaming isn't necessary either, since she's mainly right here in the STL area.

Thanks!

we have AT&T suncom family deal
but we only get 900 daytime minutes, and 2700(? something like that) weekend/night minutes. But we have 2 phones that share the minutes (i do all the talking) and the calls to each other are free. have you tried checking there website?

No but that sound adequate. That's almost 30 minutes anytime a day, and nearly 100 off time a day. That MIGHT do her! I checked the website but didn't see that plan. I'll check again. Thanks.

I used to have AT&T but we didn't get very good coverage. We switched to Verizon. I have 350 daytime and 4000 weekend and evenings for $45 a month. It is no extra charge for long distance as long as I stay in Calif. when I do it. Don't forget to check coverage when you look for extra minutes. AT & T had me on roam whenever I left my front door.

Wasn't it on the page I listed?? Just scroll down
and the plan should be there on the left. Under "Get More"
next to the family plan.

Whenever, Wherever in the US
The National Plan gives you:

Calls from anywhere in the country with GSM coverage

This is on the right side after you push select:

Build your wireless package

Step 1: Select a plan

Get More - $39.99/month

Change selection

Step 2: Select a product

Step 3: Select add ons

Step 4: View summary and add to cart

Maybe you have to go to the main page and start from there with
your area and then choose a plan.

What I found under that plan is 500 whenever minutes and unlimited weekend. Is this the one? I can't find anything with 1000 whenever minutes. (am I just not seeing it?)

Maybe that's the problem, they aren't offering the 1000 minutes in my area?

That's probably it!! It's been advertized here in
California on tv and it comes up on the computer.
Must be the area...:( They made it sound like it was
for every state...I guess you have to keep looking..:(
sorry....

Don't be sorry! I was just checking voicestream and the rates for 3000 anytime minutes in MO is $59.99 but in IL (I'm 5 minutes from MO) the rate is only $49.99

I'm going to call T-Mobile in the morning and see what I can do. Mobile phones are so saturated and competitive right now, I might be able to finagle more minutes, or even the plan you have in CA!

Thanks SO much for the lead.
