I'll go !!
I have ALL the shopping genes in my family.
Only one small problem - I don't drive. So, you'll have to come & get me first !

I love shopping! I don't care what it is or who it's for and it's always much better spending someone elses money. My mom always would hand me her list, money, car keys when I lived closer. She still calls and says "if you see such and such....". When my great aunt was alive I would take her about every 3 weeks. She would shuffle down the aisle and take 2 hours for what would have been 45 min. for me. We had a great time and went to lunch after. Sure wish I lived closer and I'd go for you!

I don't mind the grocery shopping, but like Jolie, I don't drive either so I usually get hubby to do the shopping.

I absolutely ADORE grocery shopping, it's friday money day here :) (the only day a week I have $$ LOL!) That's all Isabel & I have done today, bought rock salt, beer bratwurst (wonder what the dh who has never had liquor be4 in his life'll think of that??), hot italian sausage, soda, carrots, potatoes (food staple here), ground beef..and i'm sure i've forgotten something :)

Why can't they make grocery shopping easier. You know they make it hard. Putting all the staples in the back. If they can put a man on the moon they could make grocery shopping easier. Drive up or something.

Heck, I would go for you. I wish I had $100 to spend on groceries. I spend $60 or $65 a week on our group of five. My hubby is like yours a meat and potatoes kind.

i make ours go alittle further, by beans in the crock pot, (last 2 days) usually eat them one day then put them in the fridge, have something else the next night then beans and fried potatos again the next night. I also do the same thing with stew. throwing some ham hocks you can usually get for around a dollar with the beans adds alittle meat and flavor. THANK GOD FOR MY CROCK POT. lol
