My friend always makes this for bbq's. Could this be the one you are looking for?

Ramen Noodle Salad

2 pkg. beef flavored Ramen noodles
1 pkg. pre-cut coleslaw mix
1 C. sunflower seeds (shelled)
1 c. slivered almonds, toasted
2 bunches green onions, chopped

Dressing:

1 c. oil
1/2 C. sugar
2 pkg. beef flavor seasoning (from Ramen Noodles)

Break up Ramen noodles into small pieces. Combine noodles with coleslaw mix, sunflower seeds, toasted almonds and green onion. Mix well. Set aside. Mix together oil, sugar, and beef flavor packets for dressing. Pour over noodle mixture RIGHT BEFORE SERVING.

That's the one I was thinking of. We throw in some snow peas, too.

Thank you. thank you. That's just what I wanted. It was so good. Do you know how long it stays fresh after you make it?

I always keep it in an airtight container for 2-3 days, but it's really not as good after it sets in the dressing. JMO
