pen pals

Just wondering how many of you have pen pals? Either e mail or snail mail.
I have one email and about 10 snail mail.

Many moons ago, I was in Girl Scouts, I needed my penmanship badge and one of the requirements was to have a pen pal. I had a copy of Tiger Beat or Teen magazine, you answered a simply survey, taped a quarter to the page, and they matched you up with someone...little did I know, there was another little girl in Halletsville, TX in Girl Scouts that needed the same badge- needless to say, we became pen pals, and are still in touch, phone calls, email etc...since we have been 13 years old!! My dream is to meet her, we have been through so much together...it was the best decision that I ever made.
If your girls/boys want a pen pal, by all means, encourage them!!:p

OMG! I have two email pals, I'm bad and can't handle alot. :(

But when I was younger I used to have about 10 snail mail pals. We used to pass 'friendship books' around--that's what you'd put your address in and get addresses from there to write to people. I used to have so much fun!

I would volunteer, but I am terrible at writing letter and sending them! The pen pal that I have had now for years- we email, and call each other:p

I had an email/snail mail pen pal from germany for a while but he didnt send letters after a while and got all made cuz i was going out with someone! LOL!! We werent together in the least i mean how many 1000's of miles away are we when he is in germany and me here in GA thats a very long distance relationship LOL!! So i guess we just broke our pen pal thing off!

Maybe someday i will find a new pen pal LOL!!

When I was a teenager I had a penpal in Nice France (don't know how to put the accent there lol). We wrote back and forth a lot and sent little presents and pictures. Turned out she was a redhead too, what are the chances! Would love to have an email penpal now! tazlady16@hotmail.com
