Holy Smokes! It would take HOURS to just gut that thing, not to mention how long it would take to carve it!!! Heck you would have to have a spot light in the thing instead of a candle!!!

What exactly does one do with 378 pound pumpkin when one harvests it?
:D  :D  :D

World's largest pumpkin (October 2001) -- 1260.4 pounds.

A 1260 pound pumpkin would make over 650 pies.

World's largest pumpkin pie -- 350 pounds; 5 feet in diameter; 80 lbs. cooked pumpkin; 36 pounds of sugar; 12 dozen eggs; 6 hours to bake.

This addictive sport started off trying to grow my 2 boys a pumpkin for Halloween...I grew a 143 lb'er last year,,and also GOT ADDICTED to this wonderful sport...Its a full time job growing one of these..I grew the 378 in a patch about 550 square foot...I went to Atlanta last weekend to weigh mine and my friends in Atlanta who we thought had the state record...Unfortunetly he came up short...Not to fret though,,we will try again!! Between me and Brian,,we shall grow a state record in the future...Wish us luck!! I plan on entering it in a weigh off August 24th if it holds up,,but looks as though it may rot before then...If no weigh off,,I get the seeds out and try again.....

Great day!!Good job!!

Questions-has your growing season ended? U don't have to tell me your location-but what zone are you? In my zone 5 we don't consider them finished growing until fall!!You must have started that waaaaay early to be that big in JULY!!

Nice hobby:)
