This is the little thing I wrote for my Mom for Mother's Day. It is going into a book with someof my other works. I just want to know what you all think. I know that she iwll never see it here cause she never comes to Off Topic. So let me know.

Mom,

I know that I can always count on you.
You have watched me grow, change and become the person that I am.
You have let me make mistakes, always standing in the backround so that I could learn on my own.
I know that no matter where I go, what I do, or how I screw up, that you will always love me.
Well, I wanted to tell you that no matter where you go, or what you do, or how you screw up, I will always love you.

I think it's great but I would take out---Freyda--not my real name, before you give it to her. :eek: :D :D :D :D :D

She said it was for Mother's Day so I don't she gave it to her.

Lol. Thanks for finding this old old post of mine. Mom loved her book, and I've added to it as the months pass. I am not sure where it is now. But it did make her cry. This year, I went and got her stuff. Lol. I know she'll love it. I won't be home on Mother's day. I work. :-(

I did love it. And yes, I did cry. :)

Freyda, I know where the book is. And that's all that's important. All you have to do is ask and I'll give it to you.

So far Freyda has put 30 different poems/entries into my book. If any of you would like to see some, let me know and I will post them. (I'll check with Freyda for which ones are okay to post.)

That is so neat Freyda. My neices are all teachers and very talented with writing poems and things like you wrote. They've typed up some into fancy backgrounds and put them into picture frames and their parents have them hanging on the wall. Very pretty for all to see.
