I'm wanting to get a handheld for my husband, but am stumped as to what I should get. I originally was going for the Palm m505, as I definitely want color. I have the m100 from the Staples deal, which I was going to sell on ebay to help pay for the other. But Cnet didn't have excellent reviews for the m505. I did see they liked the Sony Clie and I was thinking maybe that is what I should get since I have a Sony digital camera and I believe they take the same memory sticks. What handheld would you get if money wasn't a concern? Obviously, whatever I decide on, I will try to get the best deal, but I want to get DH a really good one. I just can't decide.

Thanks,
Angel

OMG! I was looking at old threads and came across this one. A palm what?...lmao. Are there any computers left that would even recognize the software from this?

How technology has taken such super leaps just in the past 7 yrs.

I have this one: http://h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/us/en/sm/WF05a/215348-215348-64929-314903-3329748-3263043.html

and love it. It has Window Mobile 5.0 for Pocket PC as its OS. It also has Tom Tom GPS. I love that about it, and the fact when I am out and about, if I need to check something on the internet, I just have to find an open wireless access point(alot of restaurants offer this for free now).

It is a little pricey, but the GPS is a godsend for me because of the job I do. I travel all over the state and on occassion need it to find my way home, lol.

HP is also running a promotion, that you can trade in any handheld and they will give you fair market value, plus $50: http://www.hp.com/united-states/tradein/promo/ipaq/index.html but you have to buy a HP iPAQ 210 (p/n #FB040AA#ABA) they have several interesting packages with it: http://h71016.www7.hp.com/html/psg_040708_hh1/index.asp?jumpid=re_R2910-R295_store/computing-handheld/ipaq-210-enterprise&psn=handhelds_and_calculators/handheld_pcs
