I vote for the gyno visit too - years ago, I had a fibroid the size of a grapefruit in my uterine wall, and quite a bit of endometrial tissue - actually woke my husband up in the middle of the night once to take me to the ER because I thought I was seriously ill when I had severe cramps. When I had my hysterectomy, one ovary had been completely encapsulated in endo tissue, and the surgery took 30 additional minutes to do the 'dusting and cleaning', as my gyno surgeon called it. She threw in the appendectomy, too. Hardly ever get migraines any more, and when I do, they've been quite mild.
