Grrr....
As petty as this is, I can not stand my DH's "pod mate" - we work in a call center. This girl is average looking but thinks she's Beyonce or something, she's just plain rude to me. Every time I come by to visit and we work on different floors on different projects so I see him for maybe 5 minutes a day during the day... and of course after work... she glares at me. I finally had it this morning and told him that I point blank do not like Amanda. And he says "Well she's my friend..." and I'm like that's lovely but she's a B****! I tried to explain to him that she glares, acts like I'm in her face... and she is married that much I know...so I know it's not one of those situations where she wants him or something. I just think she's a b****. He's also fallen into the habit of saying "Well Amanda said..." when we're discussing something, so I'm like "What the hell?!?! Are you discussing EVERYTHING with her?"
OMG I just can't stand that girl... and just now like 3 minutes ago... I went to see him and he's on the phone, and SHE turns around and glares at me. I guess he told her I don't like her... oh well.

Want to drive her nuts - be sugar sweet to her like she is your BFF. The fun you will have laughing all the way back to your pod will be worth aggravating her to death.

We call them cells where I work. lol
Chat with her like she is your best friend. She might change then... you never know she may think you don't like her.

Don't be confused!!!! Just because she is married doesn't mean she doesn't want him. Marriage doesn't mean the same thing to everyone, plus do you know she is happily married??

Keep your eyes open. He seems to be defending her when in fact he should be telling her to knock the sh!t off. She's disprespecting his wife and he has a part in that. If he told her that you don't like her, he's partially responsible for the way she acts toward you. The fact the he knows you don't like her and keeps saying, "Well Amanda said..." is disrespectful and he's pushing your buttons. Dude probably enjoys two women disliking each other because of him. Don't blame it all on her.
Take the high road and be pleasant like the others have said.

Pretending she doesn't exist works well too. I'd not even acknowledge her.
Orrrrr....you could get your dh to tell you something she's told him. Then bring it up. You know, for instance, say how your dh told you about her situation and you discussed it and so on. lol

I firmly believe you should be his only female "friend" if you are married to him. For her to be acting that way, he has to be telling her all kinds of bad stuff about you. I would make her a very close friend of yours. Mark my words, this situation will not end well.
