Root canal

I had a root canal done a week ago. I am having a pain but not the throbbing in the same area. Could the tooth that had the root canal still be hurting or would it be more likely to be another tooth near the first one? Anyone? My regular dentist is out for a week. I haven't called the one who did the root canal yet just because I don't want to spend anymore money!!!!

Poor baby. I hope you're feeling better soon.
I had a root canal done many years ago and I remember it hurting for a awhile but don't remember for how long. I did have 2 wisdom teeth pulled not too long ago and I think it was about a week until I started feeling normal again.
It couldn't hurt to call the dentist who did the root canal.

I had a root canal about 8 years ago... and, if you just gently shove backwards on the tooth, it still hurts.

I totally HATE tooth pain !

I have had several root canals, and the last one I got about 5 years ago hurt real bad for about a month. I ended up having it pulled in August.
I'm sure your dentist has a stand by dentist you could see since they are out of town
I hope you feel better.
