To show my age on this forum, I remember Widgetx3, MK, Jaybird, Tytbudget...tasha405 and julie were the best of friends(what ever happened to julie by the way she get a great teaching job somewhere?)

Ok not standing on a soapbox here but I am going to add my 2 cents here & this is coming from someone who is a bit older & wiser than you are.

Hun, you have way too mcuh drama going on in your life. Your focus right now needs to be on your children; not gymnastic lessons, cigarettes, a lazy a$$ boyfriend or spending alot of time on a freebie forum. I do understand venting like this DOES help. I usually type an email to myself though rather thna making my life an open book. If I need/want opinions I do sometimes as for opinions online but mostly I call my friends who have known me for a long time and ask their advice.

I am not trying to be mean or nasty here but maybe you need to get rid of men out of your life for awhile & concentrate on your children & yourself. From the few posts of yours I have read, you have an EX husband who has custody of your son & has a girlfriend/wife who abuses your child. Trust me if ANYONE ever laid a hand on any of my children that would be the last time they had use of that hand. You suspect your child is being abused & you haven't gone to New Jersey.
You have a daughter with another man who lives in Arizona & doesn't pay child support.
Now you are living with another man who sleeps the day away & is trying to sabatoge you when you are trying to quit smoking by smoking cigars in front of you.
I know abuse, trust me, been there & got out. I know this is probably going to get me banned but it needs to be said.
Get out off then computer, get out of the house & start looking for a job; I don't care if it is cleanning toilets. For your own sanity you need to get out of the house. Start earning & saving money, get a place of your own.
Pennsylvania DOES enforce child support but you have to go back to domestic relations & force them to do their job if need be. Then get an attorney & get your son back. Then stay single for the next 10 years. You have got to do somethings for yourself rather than waiting for a knight in shinning armor to coem riding up & save you. Prince Charming does not exist.

I understand what you're saying and I appreciate the upfront honesty instead of the simple bashing that most people do.

My boyfriend isn't 'lazy' persay; no relationship is perfect. Many of us only post negative things, trust me there's plenty of amazing things he does for me and the kids, i.e stays up with Chloe while she's sick in the middle of the night and lets me get some rest along with many other things that he does that I simply don't post about. I can see how you think he's lazy as I've given that impression. As for the cigar thing, once I asked him to go outside he did...the smoking thing BLAH I broke down and got a pack because I was weak. He sleeps during the day because of things that happened to him in his younger years, not my business to place online so I'm not going to, but if you knew the situation you would most likely understand.

The situation with my son isn't as cut and dry as everyone likes to think, we've already discussed that in another thread, and once again while people may not agree with the way I'm handling it, I am doing something. That's the end of my discussion in regards to that.

I have put applications in at places, walmart, cvs, walgreens, target, etc...it's like impossible right now, and yes i've followed up. it's not that I want to be home, I enjoy working, it gives me a break from 'mommy life' and adult interaction. It's just that it's the time of the year that everyone is trying to get a job, or a second job due to the holidays...it's harder than you think.

My house is my house, I've lived here for almost 3 years- so if anyone were to move it would be him, but then again like any relationship it's not perfect but it's definately not broken, if you know what I mean. He can be an a$$ i can be a byotch, it's life.

As for the child support enforcement- since her father has filed for SSI/SSD they can't do anything, and yes i know this for a fact as my BIL is going through it. The best they can do is get him on the interest.

I know life isn't a fairytale and there are no knights in shining armor, I also know I don't need a man in my life to survive, as I survived on my own for awhile before my BF moved in. When push comes to shove he's stepped up to the plate and been absolutely amazing. I think that I should start posting the positive about him because I've given him a wrap of being a jerk.

That's a great idea, maybe us ladies here should start a thread and say atleast one thing nice about our men each day, or whenever we can think of one~~ that would really help
