not really a vent, but figured it would end up here.lol
Okay tried to call citibank yesterday because I'm supposed to get 1% on ALL purchases and 2% on gas,groc. and pharmacies. Anyhoo for the past three months the 2% category has peaked at $8 and change even though last month and this month it should have been between $13-17. So I tried to call yesterday and you get a live person you can barely understand that says they are having phone issues and call the captiol one line. WTF I don't have a capitol one card.
So was wondering if anyone has ever had this issue or whatever?

Never ever ever ever ever ever ever x10000000000 call a credit card company on a Monday or Friday. You won't get shiz for help. My sister worked for BoA for 9 years and told me that tid bit

lemme guess......the employes don't feel like doing shiz? because I know I got live people and the first lady I could NOT understand ( foreigner) and the second guy is the one who said call capitol one.

Exactly....Not a one wants to do a damned thing.. My sister's job was to make them do shiz and handle customers in a polite, timely manor (if you knew my sister you'd see the irony to it, she's a bigger bee word than I am and that's really bad  )... Then she got laid off because she was doing her job right.. Her whole department got cut so customer service went out with the banking crisis.. I am pretty sure that's what happened there too.
Sorry this is happening but chase handled our mortgage for a while and I could give you a 19 page story on how they effed up our escrow too.. I got into a screaming match with our city tax collector and chase over that one... ugh don't get me started lol

I don't know how in the world you can keep up with cash back like you do. That is amazing...lol. I like using our discover card because of the 5% back, but I couldn't tell you even close to what we should be getting. I just "assume" what I get is what I earned. Good for you for staying on top of it. Wish I had that much dedication.

All my credit cards are paid off!!! I no longer have to worry about this! Although, we recently had to deal with Citibank and their card and they couldn't have been nicer or more efficient.

Thanks mary. Heck these days every dollar counts right?
Anyway its fairly easy to know what the amount should be. Like if I spend $800 in gas, groc and meds then at 2% it should be $16 bucks back for JUST Those amounts. And if we spend $300 for whatever else $3 for that. Etc. I figured I would be one of those ones that got my credit limit cut when they started doing that to people because we pay off the balance every month so they are paying us to use their cards. But NOPE not so far.
But they are not giving us the correct amounts either. Didn't have time to call over the weekend so will have to call this week....

I canceled my Citibank card awhile ago for customer service issues! HORRIBLE! The only credit card I use now is Discover and I rarely use it anyway.
Props to you for tracking that stuff and I hope you get it all straightened out.
