But sitting there and doing nothing is a felony in most states. . There is NO way to go around it so that the gf doesn't get pissed.. She's going to get pissed either way so she needs to shiz or get off the pot.. Every day that kid is there he is being subjected to abuse.

The shiz is going to have to hit the fan.... File a restraining order against the gf, if they are not married then she has no right being near the child if there is even any suggestion of abuse and it will remove her or the kid from the home.

If you have a copy of the "agreement" , send a copy to the judge that presided. Explain the allegations of abuse and that they may or may not be true. Chances are 99.9999% that the judge will order a hearing. Find a way to be there. The judge is not an idiot. You can tell your side of the story as well as an attorney, probably more accurately. BTW, if my child told me that he was being hit, starved or abused in any way, I would not sleep until I knew the truth in my heart. We went through a similar situation with our grandaughter (which we are now legal guardians of). Good luck, hope all turns out for the best.

Rather than me repeat myself for the umpteenth time this evening, and to also avoid a p!ssing match with you, I suggest that you take the time to re-read my posts. I did not say I wasn't taking action, the action I'm taking may not be one you agree with, but I am doing something.

It is true that if you even think your son is being abused and you don't call CPC you could be held responsible. As a parent your are responsible for making sure your child is safe and being well taken care of. It doesn't matter where they live, or who they are living with, you are responsible. If it came to the attention of CPC that you knowingly allowed your son to live in unsafe conditions you could be in just as much trouble as the offenders. That said, if that were my son being treated like that I would be on that skank like white on f'nin rice. Thank you very much!
