I totally agree. I think it is sickening how everyone is all up in the air over a pervert dying. I am sorry that he had such a sad life, but I'm sorry. I don't like him and had no respect for him left. I always gave him the benefit of the doubt up til a certain point, then there was no doubt left.

i think that he was good in his younger days, and really put out some good music. But I really think that in the last few years, he has gotten weirder and weirder, and no telling what caused his death. And I think that it is a little ridiculous for people to sit and cry about his dying when they didn't even know the person. When he was in court for those child molestation charges, he looked freakish. And those white kids he keeps saying that they are his? And who names a child blanket???? Odd my friends, Odd.

The child's name isnt blanket, its Prince, but thats what his nickname is. Farrah's death was totally expected, and she got a lot of coverage over that plus with her documentary which is why theres not a lot about her on. Ed was 85 so yeah , he was expected. Our news is comparing Michael's death to Elvis of our generation so there will be a lot of more coverage, especially when they find out why his cardiologist left the home after his heart attack....
Reading the news this morning, I see Jesse Jackson has his nose in this now.. Now that is who I am tired of seeing all the time

Since MJ's plastic surgeon has a practice here it's still all over the t.v. It's like I stated earlier it's the same reaction (if not worse) when Elvis died. I'm not looking forward to the next month or so in the news.

Here's the latest:

Houston doc to meet with L.A. investigators
Police seize vehicle of Houston cardiologist who performed CPR on the superstar

I'm sorry that he died. He was very talented and was cute when he was young.

BUT BET, VH1, MTV, MTV2 and everyone else who are ONLY playing MJ's songs and vids....THAT'S ENOUGH ALREADY. No one wants to see/hear Thriller or Billy Jean 16,000 times a day.

Yesterday the house passed cap and trade and yet mostly what was on the news was all about Michael Jackson. The media has really let us down again.
They hardly mentioned cap and tax at all.

I decided until this is over it's time to catch up on some of the DVD's I haven't had time for and to play some of the new CD's I got recently.

The news said he ranks up there w/ Elvis and the Beatles.
It is the passing of an Icon
He was the biggest thing in the 80s-90s
Then he grew strange and everyone kind of wrote him off wondering if all the "rumors" were true.

Give it a week then the news will be on to someone else.

I don't know whose Icon... certainly not mine. It's said when any human being dies but I'm w/ tngirl... all this mourning over a child molester... it's rediculous... shut up already.

at least the Beatles who have died were not caricatures of themselves at their death. I thought Jackson was bloody weird myself. who lives in a neverland ranch, has a chimp for a best friend, and talks about how loving it is to share his bed with a child?
