Am I understanding this right??
I just read a article that said pretty soon you will notice in your paychecks... about $10-15 which equals to about $400 for those filing single and $800 for joint. Someone wanna tell me how that boosts the economy??? I mean you arent even going to notice $10, for crying out loud.

I don't know....all I do know is that this stimulus thing isn't very stimulating.

I didn't notice a change in my pay, I get paid once a month and it started with this pay period. Just got paid today, they just took more out in taxes so I didn't get anything extra.
Just send me a check for it all at once...that will help more lol

Be careful if you are married and both working. They will do the maximum in both checks and you will owe money because they overpayed you

I checked my checkstub online yesterday, and there is a $30 increase in my check, because NO federal was taken out. I'm not happy about this at all. Bush's plan was ALOT better, IMO.

I dont work, hubby does. I have been reading about this stimulus thing, and I just really dont see how its going to really help. You arent going to be able to pay a bill, or buy anything extra. To me, the few dollars the checks go up, is just to make up for gas going up ( which it is again) or to cover the bills. I agree about Bush's plan.. it may have been spent all once, but it helped a lot more than this crap. I am not debating presidents or any of that. I just dont see how this is supposed to help.. a few extra dollars.. please.

You should get $10-15 PER week
So if you get paid monthly (like my dh) you should have seen at least $40.
If NOT they might not have started yours yet. HOwever if you do NOT get 400 single, $800 couple you can get the difference at the end of the 2009 tax season when you file. Thats what it said on yahoo, via cnn. money.

Yep anything over the $800 will have to be paid back. So be careful if you are both getting this. Communicate at how much you are BOTH getting.
