I know that in some states they are raising the income level for the food stamps in April I don't know if it is April 1st or when but it would be worth it is see if it is in your area. Also try Angel food ministries if it is in your area. You can get a whole box of food that suppose to feed a family of four. You have to order and pay for it a certain deadline then you pick it up at churches that host it in your area. They have a menu and all the information at
www.angelfoodministries.com I would try it. Some of the women I work with does it every month and she said that it has good food for hardly nothing. I think everyone is feeling this terrible economy
I just went and looked at the menu for April 2lb breaded breast fillet, 1lb steak faijtia strips,20oz supreme pizza, 1lb hot dogs, 28oz jumbo beef patties in gravy, 16 slice cheese, 1lb mixed vegtable,
2lb french fries, 12 corn tortillas. 1lb rice,15oz peaches 6oz pancake mix, 32oz 2% Shelf stable milk,
dozen eggs and dessert. for 30.00. This is just for this month it changes every month . In the past it has been quite a bit more on the menu but still I don't think it is bad for 30.00 And if you look at the website there are other menus with all fresh vegtables and fruit for 22.00 that one really looked good and it would diffently cost alot more in the grocery stores Anyway I hope that helps
