NICE!!!! NOT! This after 8 years of customer service, not ever a late payment and always MORE than the minimum.
If I were anyone with anything with BOA (Bank of ***holes) I would pay them off ASAP! Even if it is Mortgage.
So I am going to shred the CC and pay the idiots. But never ever do business with them or any bank they get sold too ever again except to pay the card off.
Watch out for your statements. The recent Stock Market "crash" likely did more damage to them than anyone ever will know.
Also btw my Sister-in-Law just got the notice today that she is being let go from her HIGH position as of November 15th.

My favorite surveys to take are the ones about B of A. Gives me a chance to vent and burn off some steam!

Even if you have an account with them. They still thumb print you to be able to cash a check. It's crazy.

When your credit score is calculated, one of the things that contribute to your number is how much available credit you are eligible to use. Zero balance credit cards count as a positive toward your credit score.
In other words...the more zero balance credit cards you have to your name, the higher your credit score will be. The key is...you have to be sure you do not use them!!!
That is a hint from Suze Orman.

I somewhat agree with this however.....the flip side.....if you are going for a loan/mortgage....they look at all your 'available' credit (your limits) and calculate them as 'potential debt' as well......it can sometimes work against you.....but having credit is key....

I was talking about the solid gold coins that can be purchased in some coin shops. The gold color coins you are getting are probably just an alloy.

Dear Sirs,
In view of current developments in the banking
market, if one of my checks is returned marked
"insufficient funds", does that refer to me or to
you?
Yours Faithfully,

I remember months back, probably back in the winter or even last year, BOA sent out letters to their customers warning them that their interest rates may be raised and that if you decided to close your account they would let you keep your low rate and pay off the bill. Now, because of my divorce many years ago, my credit was shot to hell. BOA gave me a card about a year and a half ago with high interest rate. To my surprise, my interest rate only went up 3 %. It was 21%, rose to 23% and because of this post I just went and checked my rate again and noticed it actually dropped .5%.
Don't get me wrong, I don't condone what BOA has been doing to it's customers. I think it's pretty crappy, especially to the people like you who have excellent credit. My credit it is a lot better now and I've been thinking of ditching BOA. I haven't used their card in ages because I have other cards with much lower interest rates.

Mine too! We had to check every pocket and every lining of all her clothes. We even found some money buried in the garden in baby food jars.

I was just telling my mIL this. she didn't believe me! She said they can't do that without a soc. sec #. I said well they are,,,because of the almighty dollar. And if it gets stolen (or the owner says it does so they won't have to pay the bill) how will they prove it?? So good luck collecting from an illegal!

This is true, the worst thing you can do is cancel a credit card with a zero balance on it. I use to work for Capitol One.
