Anyone else get sick around the same time every year? Me, I get sick it seems like every October. I know it's because of the change of seasons but for once I wish I could be cold/flu free for Halloween!!!

Last year at this time I was 8 months prego and had a HORRIBLE cold. The year before that I was sick in bed for about 2 weeks with the flu. I even had to go to the hospital, not fun. And in 2005 I had gotten so sick I actually thought I was going to DIE! I had bronchitis a sinus infection and had a stomach bug all at the same time. I didn't know which end to put on the toilet, my face or my a$$.

I am feeling fine at the moment...but I know it's coming! Lord, please don't let the sickness find me!!!!

Ugh I feel ya. I usually sit onthe toilet with a bowl on my lap cuz goin both at the saime time is one of my unique talents lol

Hope you feel better. I haven't been hit with the sickies yet, just a cough/runny nose thing but not the flu. I had the flu last year and thought I was going to die..wanted to as well.

Drink water and gatorade..rest up and watch some tv

wow, i'm sorry for you, i can't imagine... i've had times when i would sit on the toilet with my face in the trash can, lol. i know there are times when i feel like total crap, but i can't afford to be sick, i have to go to work, and i can't give in to it.. i just take OTC meds and deal. I know people think i'm crazy, but if i let my self get down or give into being sick, i'll miss work and can't afford to do that either. It takes ALOT for me to go to the dr.

Yep, I know what you mean. I try to work and take care of this kids too when I am ill. My fiance is always yelling at me to get to bed. I think that might be why my colds get so bad in the end because I over do it.

You ought to get the flu and pneumonia shots. They usually keep my husband from getting sick. He got his today so they'll be working way before cold weather sets in. I hope you don't get sick this year.

MERE CHAT

No cold or flu bug has hit me yet (knock on wood) but since late August the Ragweed has been driving me nuts!! Itchy nose, eyes, throat, ears and constant sneezing! I have year-round allergies but Ragweed season seems to be the worst!! I can't wait for the first frost!!!

Run Little Buddy Run!!! It is that time of year again. I have to admit that since DH and I have started to get our flu shots, we seem to make it through the winter months pretty good.

Hope the little buggies stay away from you!! No fun having a case of the sickies.
