I was just entering contests...the last one being for CHILDREN'S BOOKS!!! and I scrolled to the bottom of the page to enter my thanks so I know which I have entered or not...and there is a naked womans ASS in the air. It was a banner ad for playboy.

Okay, I'm not a prude by ANY means but when I'm entering a contest for a child's series of books, I do NOT expect to see ass in the air and an ad for playboy. Brandon...or Alex...WTF are you thinking????

There have been a few other threads started about this. I started one a while back. They even have the ad in the religious forum. That picture that you saw is pretty tame compared to the one with girl with her hand down in her crotch area. People have suggested using Fire Fox with ad blocker but in my opinion we shouldn't have to do that because the ads seem a bit inappropriate for this type of site.

I don't move around the forums much anymore because well, If they don't care why should I. But geeze, my kid will enter the contests that are relevant to her. I'll set her up and she enters. Not that she hasn't been exposed to something like that before...makes me wonder if they have pics of women's asses laying around their houses for their guests to look at.

I'd say something, but everything I say falls on deaf ears. I'm just waiting till I finally bail completely. I know they answer Hippie, so I'm just about to pass all the reins and call it quits. ****, if I can't even do the contests anymore, there isn't much left on this place to bother with.

Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't, it's a toss up. I don't see the ads because I use FF with Adblocker. (Not just for here, but all the time, everywhere) That's what I tell everyone to do when they complain, because there is nothing else I can do about it. But I turned it off one day to see what every one was *****ing about and my DH was like, "you on a porn site?" LOL!

And you can't quit Katt, then I'd be IM'ing you all the time and yelling "HELP!"

I know how you feel. They got mad because they said I was bad mouthing them on the forums. They told me to send them pm's if I had a problem or needed something. What good does that do because they don't answer. I have never bothered them with anything frivolous. One time I got a reply from either Peter or the person that goes by the name bigbigsavings. He asked me specific questions and then I replied and never got an answer or any type of response. Oh well. You can only do so much. lol

They are always trying to get new people to join but I bet those ads turn a lot of people away. I just can't get used to using Fire Fox so I have tolerated the ads but they do seem very inappropriate for a deals board. lol

I upgraded to IE7 Pro(Think its pro) and havent had a bit of trouble since.
