Wedding from HE!!
Ok so my cousin is getting married in 2 weeks and it is the wedding from you know where. He is marring a girl that is 20 years younger than him so the family is not very happy about it. When he decided to marry her his mom (my aunt) freaked out. We have all tried to talk him out of it because she is so immature but it is hopeless.
He called me and asked me if I would be the wedding director (that is my side business), and against my better judgement I said yes. my 1st mistake!!!!
I know that this girl is very young and immature so I made a complete list of EVERYTHING that needed to be thought about and planned for the wedding. I know they are on a very tight budget so I planned for a SIMPLE wedding. Well she had a plan in mind and since it is her wedding I was not going to argue with her but I have just about had it with the latest addition.
Her wedding is Burgandy and Silver and the dresses are beautiful. So my mom who is a cake decorator is making the cake. She calls me this morning and says that they have decided that they aree going to have a JOHN DEER THEMED WEDDING!!!!! Along with the ALREADY PAID FOR BURGANDY decorations. She wants me to call my mom and tell her that she wants the wedding cake to look like she is already doing it but also wants a layer added that is in John Deere theme.
I am at a loss on this one. Please tell me what you all think.

Personally I don't know why someone would change their mind 2 weeks before hand.....and putting a green tractor with burgundy and silver cake eeeeeesh! Here's a suggestion: My brother and his wife had a traditional wedding cake and then a groom's cake. The John Deer cake could be a whole separate grooms cake.
Kelsey1224 beat me to it!

Yes she is totally serious. I now have to return all the dectorations that were bought for the reception to get John Deere decorations. At this point people are coming to the wedding just for the laugh factor

Ugh that's gonna be one tacky wedding! It's one thing if you have a John Deer theme but to have colors picked out and then change it up just before hand. She seems flighty, hopefully she's not that way in the marriage! Is she a Bridezilla?

I would tell her no. It is to late to change. A wedding business would not let you change your mind 2 weeks before the wedding without a large fee charged. I would tell her no, there is no time to go exchange the decorations.. and no the cake can not be changed.. if she wants a JD groomscake fine.. if not.. sorry

I will take tons of pictures and post them for you and yes she is Bridezilla. Her wedding dress is not even done being altered because the lady that was doing it for her stopped in the middle of it cause she is no horrible. The lady has a policy that every time you get an attitude she calls the cops and charges you $20. She paid $100 for the dress with alterations and In the end before the lady told her to just come pick up the dress it had cost her $260. I should have backed out then. OHHHH I just told her that it was too late to change and she said fine she will exchange it all her self and decorate the hall herself. This is going to be an america's funniest videos event
