This really sounds like a scam to me... I would maybe consider contacting the Better Business Bureau? This is especially surprising for lawyers, who are required to adhere to a strong code of legal ethics.

Keep up the fight, keep us updated! I've been burned on PayPal before, too.

I can't believe I never googled the address until late last night. You can bet I will be calling at 9AM. The phone listed with paypal the lady claimed she didn't know an "Allison".

Wow! I too can't wait to hear the outcome. I would be so mad! My mouth dropped when I saw where it was delivered too...but, again, in the same breath...am I really surprised you are being %^&*$# by a law firm?

Nothing really. I am working a lot right at the moment and have tenant issues too so I feel I am being pulled in 100 directions.
I never heard a word back from the lawyers office I called but I have not attempted anymore. Tomorrow is the 7 days since I filed a non paying bidder and she did take until the last day to pay me last time so I was gonna wait another day.

Wow, I'm so sorry that happened. Was the phone used? If so, it should have a VIN number behind the battery. You could report it stolen and she'd never be able to get it activated. That is truly what she did to you, she stole it.

Thats what someone else said to but I called AT&T and they could only put a block on the sim not the phone they said. If I reported it stolen it blocks my sim and I am using it in another phone.
I may just give up..I have so much going on and it gives me a headache.

I got scammed before too on a $25 teapot that arrived broken.
