Small 4th of July vent

They freaking canceled the fireworks in Providence this year b/c too many people were complaining about damage to their houses from the fireworks.

I am wicked p.o.ed.. I don't want to leave the house on the 4th and if I do it's a short walk to the State house (where they would have done them)

We would have to go to either N. Providence or Pawtucket to see them. *sigh

I guess I could always turn the light on in the cement room and peek thru the windows and wait for the small chance we'd see one of the beer bottles actually explode (2 more did this morning)

I know pathetic...................

that is a bummer...alot of kids...heck adults will be upset now.....we do our own fireworks here in the field.....them things are soo expensive because we get the big ones....but this yr the city fireworks and ours are on the same night...we have been able to watch them both on different days.

Because of the high fire danger, many firework displays have been cancelled this year in S. California. I'm okay with it having had to evacuate last October because of the wildfires.

I'll watch them on television if there isn't anything around here.

I got the opposite problem. Everyone and their brother has been blowing the damn things for a week straight and my son is scared to death of them. grrrrrr.

Ugh , that sucks...

We did , however, have 3 more bottles explode today Hooooooraaaaay bottle rockets *sigh, I'll be glad when they are done so I can get rid of the glass
