Thanks everyone. Ithinknot, I'll ask them when I take her back to the Vet to do the barium xray. I just feel so badly for her and I feel like a terrible fur-mom because I can't get her well. I hope it's not a blockage.

A little udpate! She has eaten a little of her crunchies this morning and has been back to her bowl a few times today. My dh says she is more perky, she is drinking her water and dare I say it? She hasn't vomited at all today. Please keep your fingers crossed that she is getting better. Thanks for all the hugs and well wishes. I do so much appreciate it.
Oh ya, lol. Hubby is feeling better today. His PSA was normal and the pain is starting to go away. I think he is passing a stone IMHO. He is prone to those.
Now if everything could keep going on track I could calm down and stop stress eating. At least I didn't pick up a cigarette. (It was two years Feb. 1st that I quit smoking)

Thanks! She is doing better each day. She's been eating a little more each day and is slowly starting to get back to her bratty, spoiled, princess self.

my friend had a cat who did this often and the vet found out that it had to do with her kidneys? and she was getting crystal like things in her bladder/urinary tract and the vet told my friend to feed her cat food specifically for urinary tract problems(they have name brands like purina and stuff) and as long as my friend would feed her cat that she was ok but when she started feeding her other cat food it started again a few days later. have they checked you cat for this?did they check for hairballs or worms? Ive seen animals get severely sick from these type of things. hope your kitty continues to do well and you can figure out why she/he was sick

She is fine now. Her fever is gone and she is eating well and playing again. She had an upper respiratory infection and the kitty flu. I called the vet on Saturday just to check in. He said if she shows any sign of relapsing to bring her back but he seems to think she is over it completely.
As with the crystals? That's my other cat. He has cystitis and has to have the special urinary food. He would do the same thing if I changed his food. I give him Purina's UTI health. It's expensive but it works well for him. Susie can't eat that because it gives her diarrhea. She eats Iams which is low in magnesium but doesn't lower the pH enough to give to my other cat.
They both get weekly doses of hairball medicine because of their thick, long fur. Hairballs used to be a problem for them but not anymore.
So, so far so good. Now if I could get my hubby all fixed up we would be doing good.
