I have had Comcast for seven-eight years now. There was an issue with the connection configuration outside in December, which affected the phone service as it is linked to the internet. Comcast sent someone out on a Sunday. I have had good luck with customer service too. I can only recall one instance when I waited an extended period on the phone. I have the Triple Play deal, so the high speed internet, digital cable and phone service are each $33.

i think that time warner, and bellsouth both have the same deal where you can bundle everything & get it cheaper like that. Have you checked out anything like that? And, unless you plan on viewing movies online, go with dsl lite, it costs about 1/3 less, & does not make any difference. (at least it doesn't with my service).

Lol if you get Comcast you may end up talking to me. I am working in customer service for the cable but in 5 months will be transferring to the internet section

We're out in the country (7 miles from the nearest town, about 5,000 people) and we have a local ISP that provides high-speed wireless access. The quality is pretty good, and we have few problems with it. We have a small antenna on the house about the size of a large shoebox. I think we are too far out for DSL or cable (we have satellite for TV).
