The kids have been so wound up since 6:30 this morning, and still going at it.
Everything is slick outside, very icy......arghhh!!! I can't wait to go to work this afternoon, then I gotta go shopping after work, so I can get Sheila's valentines goodies mailed out to her...

We have ice and only a 2 hour delay. It's supposed to get to 40 so it should melt-hopefully before we need to go to school (it's only 30 now so I doubt it)

No school here today, dh and ds went to work together and dd and I are home alone. Should be a pretty quiet day for me ....we got the slush and ice no snow yet, but they say we should get some nothing much but still making for a slick day.

We have bad ice. I left for work at 5:40 because I knew I only had one shot at getting down the mountain alive. Even though we only had a two hour delay at the time I hoped it would close. I got to work at 6:10 and don't start until 8am. At least they did cancel school. My son just started at a new private school after being home/cyber schooled for 4 1/2 years. What the luck - he goes one day then gets a snow day.

They didn't call school here, but they should have. They called the school 3 minutes from ours, so mine are having a snow day! We are all staying home.

school is closed herer too. I called into work to tell them I will come in later because it is still icy out, my boss told me call a lil later to see if it was still icy where I work (25 miles away). So I called and she said to stay home, it is slow at work and still icy out . My boss is the greatest!!

Must be nice, lassss! A new hire asked what our policy was for snow and ice. They were told "leave earlier".

Ours started out with a 2 hour delay. 5 minutes before they were to get the bus they cancelled. Kinda stinks that we all got dressed and packed up then no school.

It is noon and all 3 are bored already, the dish is iced over so no tv!
