I don't recall going there ever to complain .. ever.. i'm fixing to now..

I'm only going to post what I wrote about our classes new instructor.. rather boring if you don't my history.

I went back to college when I was 32 and I was so astounded by some of my professors. I was studying to work with abused and neglected children and one of the professors actually said "sometimes when a person keeps saying they are going to commit suicide you know they are just trying to get attention and the best thing you can do is tell that person to go ahead" I was outraged by it and My friend and I went and told someone higher up. That teacher was not there the next year.

Sometimes people think just because they have credentials that makes them above reproach.

About a 100 years ago I worked for an answering service and we answered for a Psychiatrist and he had a patient that called in and said they were going to commit suicide - his response was - well it is about time - they say this every week just to get attention. So the prof was actually saying what I have been told by a "professional" - and yes I was shocked by his response.
