Why are you wearing my son's boxers...And he said I ruined his day. 2 vents

First..We were going out to dinner last night as a family to celebrate my son's 16th birthday. I invited his girlfriend to come along with us. Anyways as we were all getting into the car I glance at girlfriend, and she is dressed in my boys silk blue boxers with a black spiral pattern and for her top she is wearing one of his white undershirts. WHat is that all about. I asked her are those Zach's boxers and why are you going out like that. Then I told Zach, you better not be wearing her panties They all had a good laugh over that.

Secondly. As stated above, yesterday was DS 16th birthday. His day started out by being woken up by me, my hubby, 2 younger brothers, and younger sister. Each of the kids had bought him a few gifts (dollar store) and made him cards. He was also presented with his own personal cake and a card from us with $100 cash (he wanted $, insted of gifts). We are throwing him a party on the 28th to celebrate turning 16 with family and friends. After he was presented with his gifts, he got dressed and waited for his girlfriend and her mom to pick him up to go out to breakfast, then bowling, and onto lunch. After they did all that Zach and girlfriend came back to our house and went swimming and just hung out until hubby arrived home from work so we could go out to dinner. ANd while he was gone with girlfriend we made a big sign in the front yard that said Happy 16th birthday ZACH with ballons, ribbons ect.

When DH came home he changed and we all left for our favorite pizze place. This place is very family friendly. Instead of video games and claw machines, it has board games, card games, coloring. We always have fun eating great pizza and playing as a family. We get home from that and had cake. Well Zach and girlfriend start playing around and girlfriend tries to shove cake in his face and he tries to do the same to her. 13 year old son starts egging them on, so out of the blue Zach walks over to 7 year old brother and shoves his face in the cake. 7 year old starts crying, so I tell Zach take him in the bathroom and clean him up. I leave it at that.

Girlfriend was suppose to be picked up at 10, but 10:30 comes around and she is still here. I asked them what was up and was told that her mom can't pick her up so she needs to spend the night. I said NOPE. Hubby got ready so he could drive her home and Zach starts crying and telling us we ruined his birthday, we were mad at him all day ( so not true) and that I shouldn't of gotten mad at him for shoving cake in Stevens face. I told him I wasn't mad at all and as my son for 16 years he should know when I am mad, I know the neighbors do .

So that is how his birthday ended, I ruined his day . Talk about spoiled.

My birthday is in December if you want to throw a party for me. lol That sounds like a great way to spend a birthday. I'm sorry your son didn't appreciate all that you did for him.

I guess I am gutter minded also. And yes I was 16 once and my mind tells me I still am...hehe.
I think it sounded like a wonderful birthday and well kids now-a-days don't appreciate things the way they should. (Mine included).

Hubby and I joked around about that too. She has spent the night here numerous times when they have a school activity going on in the morning. Her family lives a ways away and sometimes they have to be at the school before 7 in the morning. But last night there was no reason for her to stay. I think they were trying to be a little sneaky. But just to add when she stays here, son sleeps on the couch which is right across from my bedroom and we sleep with the door , an eye and an ear open. She sleeps in his room, in which his bed is position on the other side of the same wall our bed is next too. Also his bed is a trundle bed with wooden slates that squeakes when someone even sits on it.

When Ds woke up this morning I asked him why he was so upset last night, crying, he said he was sorry and that he was just really tired. He wants to take me out to lunch or something today.

He raked it in yesterday. With the $ we gave him and other cards he recieved in the mail he got almost $200 and he still hasn't had his party yet.

I was going to say, it sounds like your big 16 year old had "too much birthday!" Even teens get overstimulated!!!(hey, get your minds out of the gutter!)

By the way, I used to think it was cool when I was in college to wear some stuff of my guy friends (like their sweater) but never undies! Kids!

Not to spoil your frame of mind but if she is staying over and wearing his underclothes then chances are REALLY strong that the above did not work.
