NOT! LOL
Really what I meant to say is I take into consideration that he is already working a full time job and is making sacrifices for me so I can be a sahm, so it doesn't kill me to give up some of the things I enjoy to work our other job. Hubby built a salvage good store that has turned into a full time business. I hate working up there but I do it because he works hard. I'm just happy that I don't have to work a 9 to 5 job like I use to.
Only thing I can say is put yourself in his shoes, and do what you consider is fair if you were in his situation.
ITA! My hubby sometimes works 7 days a week so I can stay with my kids. I plan everything around his possible schedule, if there's a chance he might have to work one day (like Saturday & Sunday of a particular week) I won't plan anything for those days. I just don't see why someone would be mad at their spouce for working a second job on Saturdays.

I'm not mad at him for working a second job, it's just that at the last minute, I've had to cancel plans more than a few times recently because of it. He decides at the last minute to go show a house, and because what I'm doing won't bring us money, I have to cancel. I was just hurt and needed to vent because he was so insensitive about it. Most of what I do doesn't have to be done at a certain time, and can be shifted around. But I can't expect a whole bunch of people to shift their schedules for mine. (ie: choir practice, mary kay parties, and doc appts.)

Choir practice is over for about 6 months, and I went and watched him play basketball last night (that, and I needed to choose a piano solo to play at church Sunday, and we don't have a piano). He's really not a selfish guy, it just feels like it lately. And he did finally mop the kitchen yesterday. I think he was waiting for a thank you, but it's his job, and I don't hear a thank you every time I cook a meal, or wash a dish, or do laundry, or...know what I mean? And I refused to ask him to do it because it is his job, and I shouldn't have to. So I complained about it alot. But just like a man, it was "doesn't it look good?", or "look what a good job I did". We had a couple big fights over that in the past, so when I just give in an off-handed uh-huh, he doesn't push it.

And I know most women have heard this one: "I did it (sweep, dishes, anything) once." I remember the time DH said that, he nailed his own coffin shut. I couldn't believe it, I was speechless. Fight was over right there. Makes me laugh thinking of it.
