why are most plus size pants so short?
I'm not really tall, only 5'4". I do like to wear shoes with
heals. I wear a size 18 or 20.
Why is it so hard to find jeans/slacks/pants that are long enough???
Seems like most in my size have a 30" inseam or less. Sometimes I
can find a 31" inseam, which is still too short. 31 works when I
wear flats, which isn't very often.
I get so tired of this!!!!! I'm not that tall - why is this so hard
for me??? Looking on Ebay, I can't hardly find anything! AGHHHH!
Don't they think that someone that is heavy could also be tall?
ok - done venting now....

I don't know where you shop... but around here they think fluffies are tall and it takes me forever to find a pair of pants that are short enough for me! lol I'm 5'3 and can't find anything short enough.

DD gets tall length pants at Lane Bryant. She's 5'7" and they are long on her, even with heels.

Ok - you're right, these are long enough. But they don't fit
me very well....
At least if pants are too long you can hem them up.

I have that same problem. Lane Bryant is the only place where I can find the jeans I want in a short length. I like the stretch flared and have not been able to find them anywhere but at Lane Bryant.

I have the opposite problem looking for clothing..I am average weight, but I am petite..I am only 5 ft. 2. almost any time I buy jeans/slacks/pants they are ALWAYS soo long on me, that I HAVE to wear heals whether it be boots/pumps/sandals..I usually go with wedge heels..but I have to wear them or my jeans drag on the ground.
I can sometimes find petite sizes but it rarely happens..so I rarely wear tennis shoes, unless I can find the ones that have oversized bottoms (the bottom/rubber part of the shoe)....

It's just the style. If you have chunky shoes or high heels, most pants right now are not cut long enough. The pants are cut for people who are wearing either flats or want ankle length or capri's. So if you do wear chunky shoes you are going to be hard pressed to find a pair that will break properly on the top of your shoe.
Lands End will hem pants to the length you want. You might want to check out their petites and see how long the pants legs are. A Tall is probably going to give you too much room through the ride of the pants.
