Exclamation Need Help Quick Please

Ok DH was playing around with some candles in the bathroom and poured the melted wax in the tolet, He dug most of it out but now the tolet isnt flushing right.

How do we fix this? I have water on the stove now to try and melt it with boiling water, but is there anything else we can do??

Thanks

I'd turn off the water to the toilet and try the boiling (I'd use almost boiling) water several times. For the back of the tank fill it with almost boiling water. You don't want the wax sticking further down the pipes
If worse comes to worse, pull the toilet and stick your hand up from under the bottom. You might not be able to do this with a newer toilet.
I had a bar of soap get flushed and I had to pull the toilet and remove it. YUK! it was still in the wrapper and mushy from the water. The wrapper prevented it from being flushed.
Pulling the toilet isn't very difficult.
Good luck with the hot water trick

I am not sure you want to put "HOT" water down the toilet, it can loosen the gaskets and cause leaking, maybe just try plunging it alot, or try snaking it to loosen the wax....Good Luck!! and tell hubby to quit playing with wax...LOL

Why not try flushing some Liquid Plummer down the toilet? I mean with enough lye anything can be eaten.
