Like I said I take the books on the same level as the Wizard of Oz. A good fantasy and that's all.

I totally agree..I also see them as no differnt than Wizard of Oz/Sleeping Beauty/The Sword in the Stone (how many people have let their kids watch this with "Merlin"?? I see him to differnt than and of the "teachers" in Harry Potter)/Fantasia (where Micky is using a wand)/Cinderella/Beauty and the Beast.....all of these movies have magic in some part...of course none of the magic is real..it's make beleive, it helps children build imagination..I just think it is wrong to call one book evil or bad, unless you say it about all of them...
