Someone plz help me w/ Norton Antivirus 2002 - Big Big Forums

uck, ran live update and got this message, what does it mean?

What does this mean? Went to the website and it was no help, they wanted $16.95 for tech support. I tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it, but no help, now I dont have any updates since November of last year....UGH, someone please tell me what do to!

I had this problem, try uninstalling and reinstalling. That is what I had to do and then it worked fine.

Could be your subscription is up (only lasts a year)

you could always register it under another name

i have norton 2000 on my puter and i havent had probs w/ it yet

Jasonsbaby my husband just said that it sounds like you don't have the internet connection when you were doing the Norton Updates.
OR
go to internet explorer properties and reset the defaults.

good luck. my hubby would know HE lives for Norton's just bought 2003.
by the way do you have the Nortons 2002 cover page by any chance I am looking to acquire it we tossed ours out and need it for rebate.
