I Am So Mad at My Vet's Office!

I love my vet, but the office is so incompetant! Time to change vets. That's all I have to say. Grrrrrr!

It is not so much the vet, it is the teenaged girls working in her office. They are frusterating, and even my pet has suffered because of them. Are the assistants allowed to give medical advice when the vet is not there?

Not as far as I know...I'd write a letter explaining to the Vet why you will need to find someone else. He/she needs to be aware, and they may not be.

I think they only should be giving medical advice if they are certified vet techs- not if they're just office workers. If you really like your vet, you should talk to him/her about it. Maybe they aren't aware of the situation. If they are, and aren't doing anything about, then it's definitely time to find a new vet!

Good point, I will ask if they are certified techs. And I should talk to the vet, but I really don't know what good that would do because I don't see it changing. I guess I am the quiet customer that doesn't say much when I feel I've been treated unjustly. I just take my business elsewhere!
