Angry Im in a BAAAAAAAAAD mood today!!!

I am working three(YES, 3) jobs, plus being mommy and chief cook and bottle washer. OH and I have two classes this semester also.

Ok, so I hate one of my jobs. Its my most full time job- 35 hours or so a week, but at only $7 an hour. Theres only 6 people working there, including me. The owners are very nice and the guy whos job Im training on is VERY nice, but the other two are decidedly standoffish. Its hard for me to work where you cant say anything for people giving you the evil eye at every utterance.

The other two jobs I LOVE, I just cant live on them. One is 10 hours a week being the receptionist at the college I attend---$6 an hour. The other is a contract job installing computers for a company out of Minnesota. $25 an hour, but I might only get 5 hours a month. Nothing else,I figure its experience.

OK, so, I leave my house at 6:45 am every morning, and go to the receptionist job. THEN I leave there at 9:20 am to go to my hateful job. I work there till 5 pm on Tues, Thurs and Fri. On Mon and Wed I have class at 2 so I leave at 1:50. On my 5 pm days I dont get home till 5:50 at the earliest. Then I have to cook, make sure people have homework done correctly, have clean clothes, yadda yadda yadda..... On the days I have class, I get home by 4:45 so its a touch easier.

Actually, this isnt why Im in a bad mood today, but its kinda leads up to it so bear with me.......

EVERY SINGLE MORNING except Fridays, I get up at 4 am and make my husband coffee and fix his lunch. Then I go back to bed till 6. After I go back to bed, his alarm goes off and I have to practically force him to turn it off and get out of bed. This morning I got back in the bed and his alarm had been going off for awhile. He sleeps through it, I cant. I told him to turn it off. He didnt. Then I asked him if he heard me. THEN, he YELLS at me I HEAR YOU EVERYTIME!!!!

FINE!

I told him that would be the LAST thing I do for him. BY D@MN, I wont get up tomorrow and fix his coffee or his lunch or wake him up or ANYTHING! If he is late for work and gets wrote up, NOT MY FAULT! Well, thats JUST FINE WITH HIM, since I am not doing anything that spectacular to begin with, OTHER wives get up and make coffee, fix lunches and cook hot breakfasts, I force him to eat nuked bicuits and sausage from Jimmy Dean. It is NOT my fault that he has to sit and drink coffee and smoke for 45 minutes before getting in the shower, its ALSO not my fault it takes him 45 minutes in the bathroom DOING GOD KNOWS WHAT every morning.

Im so mad at him right now I could SCREAM!!!

If you made it through this mess, thank you and I feel sorry for you. Im nto looking for sympathy or advice, or anything, just needed to get it out.

My husband does that also he stalls in the morning has the alarm clock set on the highest volume so I jump 10 feet when it goes off from a sound sleep, he was late all last week I only make him breakfast on the other shift so that he can enjoy it without rushing.
I don't work but I do go to school (Vet tech) and will be working at the zoo this summer with snakes my husband pisses me off because I have to nag him to watch the kids so i can study and do homework and when he does it's like letting a child watch children he lets them have a free for all, I fear every time I get sick!
(((hugs and sympathy)))

Tell him grow up, and start living in the real world, not all wives give their husbands hot breakfasts anymore (is he living in the 50's?) if you are working full time AND going to school, he needs to help you out. And so far as his alarm goes, it is time for a wake up call. my hubby used to do that to me, not anymore, I let him know, I could care less if he is late for work, cause I WOULD NOT take his attitude when I tried to get him up anymore,(my hubby can say some of the nastiest things when he is half asleep) if he was late to work, his prob. and if his alarm woke the kids up(he used to sleep through it too) then HE would have to deal with them. I would put my foot down, and stick to my guns if I were you. I did, and my hubby does much better. there is the odd occasion, that he sleeps through an alarm, but I found if I rub his back, instead of yelling at him, it works lots better, and he wakes up easier

Okay- um I don't work, I stay home with my two kids, AND I dont cook my husband breakfast!! I get up when the alarm goes off(I like to be the first one up so I can have coffee by myself LOL) and I figure he heard the alarm go off when I did. I'm not his mother! I'll go get him his work clothes and bring them to him, and then I go back to my coffee. If he cant wake up on his own, thats his problem. I have the fun jopb of waking two grumpy kids up after he leaves in the morning, I'm not about to make it three!! Am I mean?

My dh grabs a fruit bar on the way out the door, lol. When I worked full time and left at 6:00 am (with the kids)he never got up and made me breakfast, so why should I? He does come home for lunch and I usually have that ready for him.

Mine isn't very good about helping out while I study either. But, the days that I go to school in the evening, and the days I work (2nd shift) he has to take care of things. That has done so much for him as far as doing for himself and the kids. He's finally getting a little taste of what it's like, lol (although he does call me at work panicking every now and then).

When you're done with school, are you going down to one job? How much longer do you have?

I have been in very similar situation.
I used to get up at 3:45 make breakfast wake my husband, pack his lunch and fall back to sleep till my day begun. His hours were 5am to 3pm and sometimes even till 5pm.
then I slowly began pakcing his lunch before I went to bed. I bought an automatic coffee maker with programmer clock. and bought the jimmy dean biscuit sandwiches. and stayed sleeping.
now my hubsand is on nights leaves the house at 10pm. This is much better for us.
hang in there!

Hmmmm I hate my hubby's alarm, but when the man works as many hours as he does and hardly gets enough sleep, yeah I help him get up. Don't usually make breakfast, but have coffee and his clothes are washed. :0) Sometimes though, that alarm drives me insane!!! heehee

Ravenlost, you and I must be on the same page today! I also had a whiny-a$$ hubby who thought I ought to work 60 hours a week, take care of three kids, do his laundry, fix him 3 meals a day, AND be his personal alarm clock! We fought every single morning! The alarm would go off, I'd get out of bed, go to his nightstand, turn it off, wake him up. He'd go back to sleep, 10 minutes later I'd wake him up again. This would go on for like an hour.
Yep! Hubby needs to grow up! Part of being an adult is taking on responsibility. You didn't marry him to be his mother.
I'm so much happier now that I divorced my first hubby, and my current hubby, he's not perfect, but sometimes he makes ME breakfast.
