    Freaking dry cleaners!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    OMG I just got back from cleaners and they ruined my dress I was to wear to graduation...anybody have problems w/ their cleaners before and what can be done? I just tried calling and they are closed...UGHHHHH

    they were to hem it, now the hem is crooked and is about 6 in shorter..It looks like a hochey mamma dress..I can stand on the corner and make my money back..lol
    **sorry if that is a slang derogatory word...But I am so pissed I could cry..

    Did they cut the material to make it that short, or just hem it. If they just hemmed it, call them tomorrow and tell them you're bringing it back and they're going to fix it, at no cost to you.

    they cut it off, there is no way to fix, except to even go shorter..

    Hopefully you still have the receipt. Take that and the dress there in the morning and get reimbursed in full.

    no I bought it a few months ago...hopefully they will let me go get a comparable one and pay for that..It wasnt a cheap dress it was like $40 and thats a lot for me..lol

    Did you pay for the dress by credit card....and the dry cleaning? If so, call the credit card company and see if there's anything they can do.

    they took 2 weeks to do this, and was told a couple of times it was done, I would go down and then they would say ..sorry it has been delayed..So I made a stick about it taking so long so she said there was no charge..well now I know why...they ruined it!!

    I'm so sorry they did that to you. I would try to make them pay for a comparable replacement since they ruined it. No wonder they kept putting you off. They didn't want you to see what they did. (((sunflowers)))
