old navy online vent
Yesterday I didn't feel like dealing with the crowds so I went shopping on oldnavy.com. they had jeans for $10 shirts for $5 and the fleece pull overs for $5, I was like GREAT! Now while I was shopping the site it showed the sizes that were unavailable, most 4t's were out so i got Chloe's stuff 5T big yeah but it would last 2 winters not just the one. I placed my order and everything was fine. fast forward to today....I get an email from old navy telling me 1/2 the items I ordered will not be coming!!!!!
WTF....if they could update it while i was on the dang site to what sizes they didn't have why did it let me purchase the items then they say OOPS SORRY?!?!?!
They also have the entire amount on hold with my bank account instead of the new amount after removal of 1/2 of the items i 'purchased' and it won't be fixed until they ship..GRRRRRRRRRRRR!

Oh my gosh- After I read your post I checked my order and they did the same thing to me! Darn- I really wanted those pants too! I bet they will run the same deal again soon- they had jeans this summer for $10 right before school started.

I think at this time of year a lot of the stores are experiencing that kind of issue. Lots of people are wanting to shop online instead of in-store. It could be that at the time you were placing your order they had that stuff, but then other orders came in right before yours so they had to send the stuff to the other orders, like first come, first served. Unfortunatley, they can't always update their stock down to the second. Victoria's Secret did that to me too. It was irritating but not much I can do about.

I shopped OldNavy.com Friday and had the same problem. If they would have TOLD ME that half my items werent available, I could have at least tried to pick a diff color or something. I also used a $10 off $50 code, so now my order will be less than $50. I honestly plan out my shopping scenarios very carefully, so this totally screwed up my game plan. I hope they adjust my discount and dont take it off completely. Grrr!

Okay, now I'm more confused! The money isn't on hold any more BUT they haven't charged the new amount yet either?? WTH am I getting any clothing from them??

That is funny, I have never had a problem with oldnavy.com my bro shops there because he is husky and they don't usually have his size in the actual store.

Usually, there isnt a problem. But its because there were so many shopping on black friday weekend for their gobblepalooza deals. They dont carry my size in their stores either, but I can order Plus online.
