I pray for the best of the children. I imagine you are such a nervous wreck. Hopefully the judge will do whats right for these babies.

THANK YOU ALL for your thoughts and prayers, I get so wound up over this stuff that I literally make myself sick.
We went to court this morning and due to the criminal cases not be resolved at this time, everyone agreed to allow the children to stay in our home until the criminal case is done. The doctor "insisted" on testifying even though he wasn't needed, and all he could say was he had met the mother 3-4 times for 15-30 minutes at a time and she "seemed" to be a good mom....WHATEVER, anyone can put on an act for that short amount of time. Then the mother's lawyer wanted to know what the going rate was for paying the doctor for his time...the judge opened a can of whoop a$$ and told him...."Look, all of our time is valuable here, not just the doctor's, we all should be contributing to this case and he will get whatever has been determined by the courts, but honestly, his time should be enough!" I was like...GO JUDGE!!
So, the girls are safe for now and it will all be a waiting game to see what happens with the criminal charges....Debbie
