    Co-Worker Passed away

Just came from a meeting were we were told a co-worker passed. She was on 41 and had been sick for while. The bad thing is a number of the people here in the office talked about her because she was gone so much. One went so far as to try and contact the hospital where she was to see if she was really in there. Now these same folks are like crying and carrying on, saying how sorry they are, how bad they feel for her parents.

    I just want scream.

How tragic and so young. Funny how things work out. Maybe they are crying because they feel so bad about not believeing her? I am sorry for you loss. May she rest in peace.

    That is sad.

Same thing happened to me a few yrs back when I worked @ PepBoys in Scottsdale. Our manager didn't show up one day., and we'd call & no answer, SO UNLIKE HIM., so all day we were jokin' around., saying "He better be dead, being a no call no show, yadda-yadda"., well later that evening one of the managers from another store went to his apt., no answer at the door., went to the back & saw him laying in bed.
    RIP Lewis.

I hope your co-worker had a peaceful passing....

That's sad. Maybe they feel guilty about how they acted.

People can be cruel sometimes when they don't know whats going on. They probably feel guilty about how they acted. Thats awful young to die. I feel for her family.

i'm so sorry this happened.i think alot of us say things at work, when people dont show up to do their shift.you know like they say they are sick and then you see them out and about in town.so i am sure her co-workers do feel bad about the things they said-prayers to the family.
