To Katt, sorry to hear about the demotion, just keep on rolling! Also, i'm not trying to rag, but wouldn't buying macaroni noodles, american cheese, and milk be a better way to "double duty"? You can use macaroni for pasta, cheese for grilled cheeses, and milk for shakes. I've heard the time constraint arguement, but overall, in the big picture, it'll save space and money, using things already in most cubboards and fridges. And it's mac and cheese! how much time do you save versus from scratch? five minutes?
To all, comments have been interesting, especially the instore computer one posted by QueenAngie. I'm going to have to look for that one, but i bet it's only at SuperTargets w/ grocery sections. I know all BedBathBeyonds have price scanners to walk around with to scan prices if you ask at the Customer service desk.
Thanks all for the comments and saving me the time of "thinking for myself," seriously. I wouldn't have been able to come up with half the responses myself anyways.
Thanks, happy holidays, and let's all make sure everyone gets a plate this and every season, donate.
WOW! Nope! Much less time IF you like it! And I have heard macaroni can go in your hat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
LOL! Lighten the heck up!!!!!!
I have had same argument @ CVS! BOGO! NO LIMIT POSTED in ad or store! Called corporate, went back and had alll my coupons honored! AND, had manager apologize to me for denying them to start with! Whatever will be, WILLLLLLLLL BE!
It is not a DESPERATION thing, it's a SMART thing! WhyTH spend $$$$$$$$ when you DO NOT have to???
If you can do it... why are you in this forum?

Re: Coupon Abuse
Guess I'm a little slow today so bear w/ me while I'll recap for myself.
1) TARGET, themselves, gives me the coupons
2) TARGET, themselves, puts the mac and cheese on sale
3) TARGET, themselves, tells me it's perfectly OK to use 15 coupons iif I'm buying 15 boxes
Oh yeah, now I see how it's coupon abuse (silly me)

Beautifully said! You deserve an award! I've been saying the same thing but obviously not as clearly. Well done!

Re: Coupon Abuse
I got my 10 boxes yesterday. No problem. The lady checking me out was asking me where I got the coupons. She was going to go home print them out and go back to the store she works at!! The way I look at it, I think we are just the smarter people who have taken notice of an opportunity that Target so generously provided. Trust me, they know the product is on sale, and they know there is a coupon.
My 2 cents says: If the site offers you multiple printouts of the same coupon, then it is not abuse.
Let's just hope we keep our eyes peeled for the next "coupon frenzy".

I'm not tense at all. What do you mean? Just b/c they dissent with mine doesn't tense me. Neither does it change my stance. It's just their two cents, i appreciate them. Thanks to all, consenting and dissenting alike.
your !!!!'s make you seem tense.

I've said my peace as the originator of the thread. i don't like to repeat myself. Things lose meaning the more you say them.

Just realized what you meant.
Much less time? Like how much? one minute? The only step i see phased out by the boxed stuff is the draining of the pasta. I make macaroni and cheese on occasion, takes about five minutes, from scratch. And it's almost impossible to get il dente pasta from the boxed stuff.

It's funny how b/c someone doesn't share your opinions you shun them. Did you forget about the manager who told you, "no?" He/she has more control over his/her store then some low level telephone CSR a million miles away.
My personal experience with telephone CSR's are they are like parrots. They merely repeat the same phrase over and over again.
Also, those coupons don't come ten on a sheet, those are (for lack of a better word) Photoshopped.
