Thread: Is Everyone else having trouble getting in this site?

The answer I was most interested in is posted below as to WHY this board is down so much! SO MANY OF US depend on this board and really love it and the NICE people that are here. But after reading this reply I WONDER if this board will last!



I'm not sure exactly what causes it to go down other that what one member has already mentioned which is the amount of bandwidth, but it has been said that the owner has other business ventures that he has made a priority and that this board is the least of his worries. I'm assuming that when it does go down that fixing it is not at the top of his to do list.

Yep, I've been having the same problem -- slow or doesn't open up at all.

Same here, having troubles and sticking it out... This is the best freebie site and it has the nicest people ever.... Other freebie sites have some nice things sometimes too, but the atmosphere is different... The people here are great!!!

I'm having the same problem and I just check back every day to see if the site is up. It really is a great site.

Alex has said himself that this site isn't a priority any longer. So I guess that's why he isn't too swift in getting the tech's to fix it when it goes down.

Same here!! I have noticed for me that if I try to go on after midnight I can usually get on.

same here as this is the 1st day all week I was able to get on BBS

before I was able to get on 2-3 days a week now I am lucky to get on at all
