I tell my DH this every night. We have to have it anymore so we will buy it, no matter the price. I put my notice in at work today simply because I couldnt afford to pay the gas to get there any longer.

I think at that point I will walk everywhere I can. But if gas prices rise that high it doesn't matter if you drive less or not you are still going to feel it in other places like consumer goods ect.

ABSOLTELY!

Regardless of how much gas is getting, people will still drive with there AC on & continue to purchase huge SUVs, trucks, etc...

As soon as I have money coming in, I'm buying myself a bike! It will suck biking like 10 miles to get to the strip.. but I can't afford to fill up my gas efficient car anymore.

It used to be $20 and now it's probably going to be $40... I'll find out son enough. WHAHH!

Heard on the news that part of the problem with the rising cost of gas is the analyst calculating how high prices will go, which contributes to the prices going up. And it is not about shortages in any way.

As long as gas prices continue to increase so will food prices. We might as well sit back and wait for the inflation to start hitting. It's going to be alot higher before it gets better.

With the way gas prices are going its going to soon be a matter of whether we put gas in the truck to get to work or buy food for the house. And forget about heat this winter, won't be able to afford it. The prices of everything will be so dang high we won't be able to afford it. Don't worry though, I'm sure the white house will be kept nice and warm, plenty of food in the fridge, the vehicles will all have gas in them, etc. This whole thing just makes me sick from worrying about it.
