I am soooo furious right now!!

I wanted to see if a money order had cleared my bank, and when I logged on I was minus $-161.00!!! They said the envelope was EMPTY! It was NOT empty! I am soooo furious right now, I could spit nails. What the heck am I supposed to do? This has never happened to me before!

Do you have the stub for the money order? I would call that number and report it lost. They can see if it was cashed by anyone else.

It was from a buyer. So I dont have that part. I guess I will have to email them in the morning to see if they can give me the stub number. They are so going to love this.

HAHAHA!! They found it this morning. I got a phone call apologizing. It fell out of the envelope and was lodged in the ATM! It still makes me mad but atleast they found it..

Thank goodness that they found it. I would have freaked out too. That's a lot of money to be in the hole.

Oh my gosh! I would be furious too, I'm so glad they found it and it's been taken care of. My dad always told me that you should never put your deposit in the ATM or mail it in if it's important, that you should physically take it in that way things like this don't happen.

I've heard horror stories, my friend deposited cash and checks in her bank through the over night teller and then had all these checks bounce, come to find out none of the money was ever deposited, someone had to have stolen the cash and did something with the check b/c weeks later she received the checks back saying that she never deposited them... She tried to figure out what happened but the bank would not deal w/ her and wouldn't look into it.

I kept telling her to report them and call the higher ups but she didn't... If it was me they would have been sorry that happened and treated me rudely to boot.
