Thread: All this smoke is making me sick

I hope the brave firefighters get all the wild fires out soon because all the smoke is settling in Sacramento valley. It is so hazy from the smoke that the sun is hardly visable and when it is , it is orange. Very strange. There are ash particles on my car, my pig is sneezing , and everything smells like smoke. But at least the schools are keeping the children inside at all times.

Hope it is over soon! A few years ago there were wildfires here. The ash on the cars and dark sky was creepy.

ewww I bet that is aweful and I know my asthma would have me wayyyy sick with just the smell from the smoke but on the brighter side... atleast its not your home


Those fires must be super close to you if you have ash on your car. Are you safe to be where you are ??

Wow, hope they get it out soon. When there were fires here last year my mom was having a lot of breathing trouble because she has asthma. It looks really gross outside with all the ash and stuff falling and all the smokeyness. Sending good vibes your way. Hope your pig is okay too.

Good luck! Hopefully it will be over soon. You are experiencing something I can't even imagine. I thought the hurricanes were terrible but this would be pretty awful also.

I knoe how you feel. I live near the San Bernadino Area and it was like that last year.

Update...... Yeah the air is finally clear. We had rain and some wind last night, and all the smoke got washed away. I am glad the rain is helping control the fires, but I heard where one fire was located people who were evacuated because of the fire, they were aloud to return a couple days ago, but now with the rain, they are being evacuated again because of mud slides. I feel so bad for them.
