It's 8:30 in the morning and the boys are already driving me batty. I think the most disgusting sound in the world is listening to somebody eat. And I swear the more and more we tell the boys to close their mouth's, the worse it gets.(that's why I'm here, couldn't be in the same room with them) Then they are always dragging their feet. They have already worn the heels of their new sandals halfway down. Pick up your stinkin' feet! And not every door has to be slammed - open or closed! And for Bug - stay out of your sister's face. Is it necessary to make her scream all the time? Granted she is a spoiled brat, and is always screaming, but it's unnecessary to be in her face. And for Nowee - there is more than one way to do things, and it isn't always your way!! That boy is so stubborn, he will only do things his way, and if he can't force it, he cries. He's been crying ALOT lately. I have refused to do anything to help him out unless he asks. I'm trying to teach him that crying won't get him everything.

So, what a wonderful way for DH to wake up on his birthday - noisy boys, screaming baby girl, and me yelling (I tried to hold off).

Uggh, I just had to get it out. Now I'm leaving for choir practice.

girl, I feel your pain. my kids have NO idea what sleeping in means. The 2 oldest were up this morning at 6. My 2 y/o climbed in bed with me sometime through the night last night and I laid in bed with him until I had to get up. All they do is fight, calls each other names, holler out my name, yadda yadda. So by noon(sometimes sooner) I'm already ready for bedtime to get here. I hate having days like that, it makes me feel like a bad momma for feeling like that..

ah---family life-is'nt fantastic times like this-and it doesn't get better sometimes mine are 17 & 22 and as soon as sean gets here he starts teasing nikki--after i have threatened to kill them & bury them in the back yard (and i remond them there is 4 1/2 acres to choose from & just tell anyone who asks about them i will tell them they went up north to visit realitives & aster i remind myself how lucky i am to have them andhow some people don't have kids & want them so badly & I should be thankful having them -then i go in there yelling like a fool on Camp st--i put them outside

oh yeah---tell hubby happy birthday!!!!!

& please don't take offense anyone about having kids thing--i am not making fun of anyone here--i do love my kids i just which sometimes i wished they belong to someone else so i can send them that way-lol

You poor dear. I've been there too. I had to raise three children, each two years apart. One boy... in the middle. I remember those summer breaks, and you have my deepest sympathy. Now I know why MY mother made us play outside most of the time.

Send those darling children outside to play!

Here is a fun game...if they are old enough....take a roll of 100 pennies and throw them in the backyard. Tell them they need to see who can find them the fastest.
Give them a little bag or pail to put the pennies in.

Or throw a whole bunch of cotton balls all over the yard...and they can pick 100 of those up.

Both are fun games and will keep them busy.

They'll like this game and be quiet!
