Virgin Mobile and Sprint airs full nude commercial
The cell phone provider, Virgin Mobile USA, is currently running commercials featuring full nudity. Virgin Mobile USA, LLC is a joint venture between Sir Richard Branson's Virgin Group (London based), and Sprint, which operates the largest all-digital, all-PCS nationwide wireless network.
Here is the way a member of OneMillionMoms described the indecent Virgin Mobile commercials:
"I was flipping through the channels and stopped on a commercial I find very offensive. It is for the 'Virgin' phones. It is a prepaid cellular phone ad and the people who talk about it are completely nude. Oh the parts are blurred out on the women but on the men, they just have the phone in front of their private area. Is there anything that can be done? When is enough...ENOUGH??"
"Virgin mobile is a new cell phone company that shows naked men and women saying provocative and inappropriate sexual innuendos. For example, 'Men are you tired of paying for it? Want to get it all the time?' as the guy is standing there naked with a cell phone covering his private parts. This is offensive and pornographic in nature."
Send your email urging Virgin Mobile to pull the inappropriate commercials. After you send your letter, remember to forward this to a friend!

I saw that commercial and while it didn't offend me, I'de be pretty upset if I had children and they saw it. I see it played quite a lot on comedy central when I'm watching South Park. I think maybe they are trying to appeal to those kinds of people judging from the kinds of shows they play on there... I sent an email though. Thanks for the link.

I have seen it and my 6 yr old has seen it. I don't find it offensive at all. The people sound sweet and nervous and as for the innuendos - well the little ones don't understand them AND they aren't just on commercials with nudity they are everywhere. JMO

The commercial itslef is censored in the US...the people are holding phones over "offensive" areas....I have seen it and so has my 4 yr old, i do not find it offensive in the least...my husbands comment is that in europe they show a whole lot more than what is on that commercial, he was young when he lived there and recalls seeing real full nudity and my inlaws never made a big deal out of it

First....is it really necessary to use nudity to sell something? Why is it necessary to expose children to something as this? Do you run around your home in front of your children naked? If not, then why would you tolerate someone else exposing themselves to your children. I would just bet that if your child answered your front door and found a naked man or woman standing there you would be outraged. You would probably call the police. I would bet that you would call the police if YOU answered the door.
Second...as far as Adam and Eve...
Adam and Eve were the first nudists. Were they also meant to be the last?
From the moment Adam and Eve lost their innocence they instinctively felt the need to cover up. The Lord affirmed that their instincts were right, by doing something astounding: rather than leave it to their own ingenuity to discover how to design and make adequate clothing, the Lord himself made clothes for them. Significantly, God’s choice was more permanent, and covered more effectively than their choice of flimsy leaves.
From then on, throughout biblical revelation, nudity outside of marriage is about as unacceptable as sex outside of marriage. In biblical thought, except for the person you are committed to by marriage, to gaze at anyone naked is to grossly dishonor that person, even if he or she is the same sex as you, and even if that person is a close family member. Ham acted shamefully by not immediately looking away when he stumbled upon his father’s unclothed body when Noah lay in a drunken stupor. Because he deliberately looked, a curse fell upon Ham’s descendants, but a blessing upon Noah’s other sons, who sought to preserve Noah’s decency by covering their father without looking at his body (Genesis 9:20-27).
Now jump hundreds and hundreds of years to the very end of scriptural revelation, and you will still find expressions linking nudity with shame, such as ‘cover your shameful nakedness’ (Revelation 3:17) and ‘that he may not go naked and be shamefully exposed’ (Revelation 16:15).
