"PLUS" sized woman??? What is it?

Yesterday, I watched some sort of show on VH1 or MTV. It was about Hollywood weight loss fads. They interviewed several women on there - one a formal high-fashion runway model who is now a "PLUS - SIZED" model being 5'10", 150 pounds another was Liv Tyler's sister whom they said was one of the TOP "PLUS-SIZED" models weighting in at 170 with a height of 5'11"!!

MAN!!! Where have I been? Have I been sheltered too long? But.... WHEN did a SIZE 12 become "PLUS-SIZED"??

I quit smoking this year, gained a little weight, having problems dealing with that and THIS show actually made me feel WORSE!!! UGH!!

I watched that too! It's sad to know that as skinny as I was on my wedding day, I was "plus size" wearing a 14. I'm 5'9" and was 150 then. What I wouldn't give to be a 14 now...

lol. I've heard there were plus sized models, but I was picturing alot bigger than me!! Makes me wanna get on the floor and do my 30 situps.

12 is PLUS>??? No way! I ranged from a 10-12 in jeans in high school and while not skinny minny, I was not fat! Not at all. I guess if you don't look anorexic like Paris Hilton or Kate Moss, then you are fat.

Feel free to tell me to shut up but does anyone have 20 pounds that I can have? I'm 5'8 110 pounds wearing 4/6 and DYING to get back into my size 12's.

I will take 'em anyway you can send 'em! At one time I wore a size 12...until stress, depression, PTSD, a hysterectomy, and being disowned by various members of my family hit me.

Wow guess I am plus size or nearly there. I wear 11's. I am 5'8 and I usually weight between 159-161. I am not fat though just really curvy. You know hips, thighs and butt. Never thought I'd be considered plus size. Guess I need to loose some weight. LOL
