I used to get them frequently when I was younger but its been a few years now.

I've been sore for a few days and now itchy, finally figured out what it is. I havent had one in probably 10 years. So I caleld my DR to give me Diflucan and he is out today to a conference and can call it in tomorrow morning. UGH!!!! My insurance pays 100% of the prescription so I don't want to pay for the over the counter stuff. Blah!!
If It Makes You Happy, than It Can't be that bad.

This just reminded me of a funny thing a doctor once told me. I was having a problem with a recurring infection once also. I had told the doctor that I was taking yogurt, and he was so thrilled. Said that not many women were that keen on doing the yogurt thing vaginally. I just sat there in shock that he would suggest such a thing. I meant that I was eating yogurt, not applying it. Haha, I dont know about the vaginal yogurt thing, but I will verify that eating it can do the trick sometimes, something about the active cultures....

OMG thats horrible! No fair to tease about this!!they'd say "you must have eaten too much bread"
I went and got my Diflucan this morning as well as some itch cream.
I don't think I have ever heard of using yogurt down there. Makes sense I suppose.
You gals are all so nice. I've been around here for quite a while but it took me a bit before I regiteres and started to post. Thanks so much for the caring and the friendship!!
