    Unhappy I miss my Son!

I miss my son so much, it has only been 4 days and it seems like a month. The Phychiatrist told me to call her back in the morning, and she would maybe let me know when he can come home, she can only take it day by day. I can talk to my son at 1:00 and at 7:00, and it is driving me so crazy. I miss him so much and I am depressed alot. Please everyone pray for my son that he can come home soon. Thought he would have got to come home today but I talked to her this morning and they tried him on some kind of new medicine and she said it was drastic, said he went through the roof, said that he was sedated and that she has never seen unusal genes like his before, anyone know what that means? I talked to him twice today and he seem better. I just want my son home. anyways thanx for everyones great support and for everything. We appreciate it so much. thanx for listeneing again. Beth

Oh wow Beth. You have a lot on your plate don't you? I am so sorry. Just keep thinking positive, miracles happen, just look at your precious baby and you know that! He will be home soon and waiting for your hugs. ((((Beth))))

I am so sorry you and your son are going through this. Do you get to visit him? Or go in for therapy with him?

I must have missed your post where you said he was in the hospital. Sorry.

I will keep you both in my prayers. If you ever need to talk, pm me I have been through this with my son so many times and he is only 11.

Ok, I just read your original post and I see that you can't visit him. That is so hard. I hope that he gets to come home soon. And hopefully they will get his medication straightened out so that he doesn't have the side effects.

(((((((((Beth))))))))) so sorry you and your son are going through this. I don't know any of the circumstances but I worked on a psych floor for a year and sometimes it seemed like a miracle had occured when they found the right med and amount of med for that particular patient. I wish you and your son the best and hope all works out soon and he is home soon.

I hope you get to see him soon

I'm sorry I haven't followed your threads about your son. I do hope you get to see or talk to him soon. Does he have a mental illness? We have that in our family too. I do hope all works out for you. Being a mother is so rough sometimes. Take care.

I, too, haven't followed your threads, either, KATinKY. Being a Mom is definately really hard at times. The extreme love you feel is so awesome at times but it can make you hurt so bad at other times. I will keep you and him in my thoughts and I'm sending some healing vibes and strength that way, too. Just find comfort in the fact that perhaps they willl find meds to help him and then you can have your precious son home. I hope he returns to you soon. Stay strong, hun!

I know that it's hard but it's for the best. He is getting good care and he is not being abandoned. Time for you to be the strong one and know that he is not going away forever. Time to clean his room and take some time for yourself before he comes home. Plan a homecoming party or something. But don't sit and watch the clock until you can call him.
